Features

Everything on your desk, working as one.

Open a folder. Each one is a thing OmniDesk shares between your computers.

Mouse & keyboard

Push past the edge. Keep typing.

Move the cursor off the outer edge of your screen and it carries on, onto the other computer, with your keyboard following it. Windows to Mac, Mac to Windows.

  • Crosses only at the outer edge, never between your own monitors.
  • Won't cross while you hold a button, so drags stay put.
  • Lock the cursor to one screen with a hotkey when you're gaming.
Clipboard

Copy here. Paste there.

One clipboard for every computer. Copy on the Mac, paste on the PC, without thinking about it.

  • Text, images and files.
  • Works in both directions.
  • Turn it off with one switch when you want the computers apart.
Second screen

Your laptop, as one more monitor.

Use the MacBook as an extra screen for the PC, or the PC's monitor as an extra screen for the Mac. Drag windows across like any other display.

  • Works both directions.
  • Lowest latency over a USB cable; Wi-Fi works too.
  • Pick quality or speed, and the resolution.
Camera Multi-device mode

One camera for every computer.

Share the good camera with the rest of your desk. One switch, and every paired computer can use it.

  • Only one camera runs at a time, and you always see which one.
  • See who is watching right now.
Connection

Pair once with a 6-digit code.

Click Pair on one computer and type the code it shows on the other. After that they find each other on their own.

  • Wi-Fi, USB cable or Bluetooth.
  • Encrypted end to end between your computers.
  • No account, no cloud, nothing leaves your desk.
Multi-device

More than two? Bring them all.

Put three or more computers on one desk. Arrange them the way they really sit, and the cursor goes where you'd expect.

  • Drag the screens into place; edges snap together.
  • See every device, its link and its battery at a glance.
How it works

Three steps, about two minutes.

  1. 1

    Install on both computers

Download OmniDesk for each computer and open it. The first run takes a couple of clicks; the steps are below.

  2. 2

    Pair with a 6-digit code

Click Pair on one computer, then type the code it shows on the other. You only do this once.

  3. 3

Push the cursor off the edge

Move the mouse past the outer edge of your screen. It appears on the other computer, and so does your keyboard.

First run

Before you open it the first time.

Pair

  1. Open OmniDesk on both computers.
  2. Click Pair on one.
  3. Type the 6-digit code on the other.

Full first-run steps, including Screen Recording for Second screen.

No cloud

No servers in the middle. Your clipboard and screens go straight across.
