OmniDesk
Privacy

We don't collect anything.

That's the short version. Here is the slightly longer one.

The app

  • No account. There's nothing to sign up for.
  • No cloud. Your computers talk directly to each other over your own Wi-Fi, USB cable or Bluetooth, encrypted. Nothing passes through a server of ours, because there isn't one.
  • No analytics, no telemetry, no crash reports sent anywhere.
  • Your clipboard, screens and camera only ever go to computers you paired yourself with a 6-digit code.

Feedback

The app never sends feedback on its own. If you want to report a problem or share an idea, you open an issue on GitHub yourself, and you see exactly what you post. System details are only included if you tick the box and can read them before posting. GitHub's own privacy terms apply there.

This website

No cookies, no analytics, no fonts or scripts from other sites. To point the Download button at the right file, your browser asks GitHub's public API for the latest release. That request goes from your browser straight to GitHub, without a referrer, and we never see it.

OmniDesk is open source under GPL-2.0-only, so you don't have to take our word for any of this: read the code.
